The Bayard Beard and Body Story
Founded in 2023 by Ken Bayard, Bayard Beard and Body started as a passion project to create the perfect beard oil, a company to meet the needs of the average bearded man. Frustrated with a big-named brand's failure to ship an order and the guidance from a school teacher with a YouTube channel, Ken set out to develop products that not only smelled incredible but also promoted healthy beard growth. Today, we are proud to offer a full line of grooming products crafted with the finest natural ingredients.

Merri Bayard - The glue that holds it all together. If it's setting up show dates or interviews, getting shipments out on time, fielding phone calls and email inquiries better than any Amazon customer care person... she has been a superstar. Her biggest attribute, is putting up with Ken, and his bearded quirkiness. He truly couldn't do it without her... don't tell her, she'll want another raise!!! She is also a Girls Scout leader, a member of the band boosters and avid book reader.
Ken Bayard - The instigator, the slinger of beard oil, the expert formulator, the man who cares about the people he serves more than any other door to door beard oil salesmen. Ken changes his roles multiple times a day. During the day, he works in refrigeration at Michigan State University. In the evenings, he splits his time crafting beard care and candle products. He literally gets 4 hours of sleep on a good night!
